Bentworth Investments Wins Local Content Award 2019

On Friday 21st June 2019 representatives of Bentworth Investments Ltd were invited to attend the 3rd annual Upstream Awards. This was our second year to be nominated for an award. In 2018 were were the proud recipients of the Oilfield Service Company of the Year Award.

The event was attended by our Chairman and CEO – Carey Ngini, Project Lead – Lynette Nyagah and other Bentworth team members. We are pleased to announce that this year we took home the Local Content Award “an award that celebrates local companies that are supplying the upstream operators or international oilfield contractors with goods and services. The award seeks to recognize the local firms that are building capacity and putting in place systems in accordance with international oil and gas standards.”

It is a huge honour for us to have been recognised with this award as at Bentworth we pride ourselves on our level of service. Implementation of continual improvement cycles, to ensure that we are able to meet, as a minimum, international standards, is also key to our business process.

We also want to take this opportunity to recognise our partners Baker Hughes a GE Company, who were presented with an Innovation Award celebrating “the achievements of companies or individuals across the upstream oil and gas industry that are using innovative and sustainable solutions to transform their businesses and drive innovation.”
