Personnel Focus: Kaka Arasa, Cementing Supervisor

Kaka is a Mathematics graduate from the University of Texas – Pan American, and began his career in the energy sector as a Mud Logger. Through hard work, consistency, and a keen focus on quality, he steadily rose through the ranks, earning his place as a trusted leader in our cementing operations team.

In his role, Kaka is responsible for operating cementing units and supervising on-site cementing activities, ensuring each job is executed with precision, safety, and efficiency. His leadership was instrumental in the success of the TMGO project in Ethiopia and the Helium One campaign in Tanzania, where his attention to detail and ability to manage complex operations led to flawless execution and reinforced well integrity. Kaka’s calm demeanour, strong work ethic, and commitment to doing the job right make him an invaluable part of our team.

Kaka’s drive does not stop at the wellsite. Off the clock, he is just as industrious, deeply engaged in dairy farming, hay production, and beekeeping. These ventures speak to his love for the land and his belief in sustainable, hands-on living. Whether he is overseeing a cementing job or tending to his beehives, Kaka brings the same thoughtfulness, precision, and purpose to everything he does.
