At Bentworth Energy, our commitment to operational excellence is supported by robust equipment, and our dedicated bulk plant is a key part of that capability. Built to support cementing operations across oil, gas, and geothermal projects, the bulk plant enables us to prepare, handle, and deliver cement and other dry additives efficiently and consistently. It plays a vital role in meeting the demands of complex and high-volume campaigns without compromising on quality or timelines.
The facility is equipped with a comprehensive range of high-capacity, precision-controlled systems that streamline every phase of the cementing process. At the heart of the plant are three silos, a tripod silo and two standard silos, that provide ample storage for cement and blended cement. These silos ensure a continuous material supply, even during intensive operations, eliminating the need for frequent refills and supporting uninterrupted service delivery in the field.
Complementing the stationary infrastructure is our bulk trailer, which enables the safe and efficient transportation of cement or blended cement to the wellsite. Designed for pneumatic delivery, the bulk trailer extends the plant’s capabilities to remote and challenging locations, preserving material integrity and streamlining on-site execution.
The batch blender and twin cutting bottles serve similar functions and can be used interchangeably based on operational requirements. Both allow for the manual loading of bagged cement and dry additives, ensuring controlled and accurate feeding into the blending system. This flexibility supports efficient operations, particularly during fast-paced or multi-well campaigns, while maintaining consistent, high-quality mixtures tailored to each well design.
To ensure safe and efficient working conditions, the plant includes dust collectors that reduce airborne particles and maintain air quality throughout the facility. Rock catchers are installed at cement entry points to prevent debris from entering the system, protecting both the blend and equipment integrity. The entire operation is powered by air compressors connected to an integrated hose network, enabling seamless pneumatic transfer of cement throughout the plant in a closed-loop system. This design minimises waste, spillage, and environmental impact while enhancing operational efficiency.
This integrated system allows our team to support multiple cementing campaigns simultaneously, reduce non-productive time (NPT), and maintain exceptional service delivery, even under tight timelines. Every aspect of the bulk plant is designed with efficiency, reliability, and scalability in mind.
Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards are fully integrated into bulk plant operations, ensuring safe material handling, clean working conditions, and compliance with regulatory requirements at all times.
By centralising these resources, the bulk plant enhances our ability to deliver reliable, fast, and high-quality cementing services, reflecting Bentworth’s continued investment in infrastructure that supports field excellence.
