Allan Amombo, a Project Engineer at Bentworth Energy, plays a critical role in the planning, coordination, and execution of cementing operations across various projects. His responsibilities include designing cementing programmes, selecting appropriate materials and equipment, and ensuring that each job meets technical specifications and operational timelines. Allan works closely with field teams, engineers, and clients to align project objectives with on-site execution. Most recently, he successfully managed a well workover project for Pan African Energy Tanzania, overseeing operations that demanded both technical expertise and effective coordination.
Allan began his career at Bentworth Energy as an intern, where he gained foundational experience in cementing services and field operations. He later progressed into the role of Cementing Laboratory Technician, acquiring specialised expertise in slurry formulation, testing protocols, and quality control. In addition to his engineering responsibilities, Allan serves as the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Lead. In this role, he is responsible for integrating safety protocols into field activities and ensuring compliance with industry standards. His dual role reflects a broad skill set and a deep understanding of both technical and safety considerations in oilfield operations.
We are proud of Allan’s growth and accomplishments. His progression from intern to Project Engineer, along with his expertise in both laboratory and field environments, exemplifies the dedication and capability that drive our operations forward.
